A teaser has been released for Season 4 of Call of Duty and fans can't help but notice the appearance of Captain Price. Watch the clip here:

The fan-favourite had only popped up in cut-scenes of previous Warzone seasons, but now he's set to drop into Verdansk for the first time.

As the teaser clip comes to a dramatic conclusion, Captain Price comes into view and says: "Bravo six, going dark," which we can only imagine means they're going off communications to fight...

Earlier this month, Activision sent a message via the official Call Of Duty app hinting at some sort of meeting for May 21st. Many assumed this would be an in-game event in Warzone, but nothing major came to pass.

Then they sent out a marketing email which directs users to a new website. As you can see here, the site contains a 'confidential' message with a clear suggestion of what we can expect as part of the games upcoming fourth season of content. Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare kicks off on 3 June.

The message itself was pretty cryptic and had a lot going on, but cutting through all the secret messages and military talk makes one thing pretty obvious - Captain Price will be entering the battle as a playable operator, it's just that it's now been officially confirmed.

The video details an individual that the enemy is concerned about, and that tracking him down should be a priority. We then see surveillance footage of Price himself, suggesting he could well have had something to do with the bunkers opening, and is the reason things are starting to heat up in Verdansk.

As well as the excitement surrounding Captain Price, players have discovered unarmed nukes hidden away in the bunkers, along with Cold War-era planes and secret Russian messages.

We already know Infinity Ward has plans to adopt a similar approach to Fortnite when it comes to constantly evolving Warzone. With a bunker full of nukes and a big red button, there's no way something massive isn't coming - even if it's not necessarily part of Season 4.
