Epic Games and Hasbro have teamed up to produce a new instalment to one of the world's favourite board games - with a battle royale twist. Get your wallets ready gamers, Fortnite Monopoly is has arrived.

It's pretty similar to the video game you might have played already. Two to seven players can choose from 27 different outfits (skins) and battle to 'pick up health packs, build walls, and damage their opponents'.

You won't be disappointed because there's already rave reviews on Amazon with one person saying: "I thought this would be a Fortnite themed Monopoly game. BUT NO! It was better.

"They game is completely different from the traditional Monopoly game. And I loved it. My friend and I played this game 5 or 6 times in one sitting.

"This impressed me because the traditional Monopoly never had a winner in my household because of how long it could take to determine the winner. I really want another one of these to save as a collectors item."

Another added: "Amazing, I love Fortnite and Monopoly."

And a third agreed saying: "It is Monopoly, same great game with Fortnite attributes."

Fortnite Monopoly isn't just a standard monopoly game with a few name changes and new paint job - it has a couple of Battle Royale-themed rules, too.

Just like the video game, the main goal is to be the last one standing. There's a storm that, if it lands on your square, takes takes two health points off you - oh yeah, and instead of money you have health points, of course.

Also, rather than both dice focusing on movement, one die will determine an action. This means players choose to either progress on the board or take action first, which includes shooting players, using Bandages to heal, throwing a Boogie Bomb to damage all players, or building a Wall to protect yourself.

If you think normal Monopoly causes your family to rip one another apart, can you imagine what would happen if you chuck a Boogie Bomb into the mix? All hell will break loose - I just wish they were that useful on Fortnite...

It's available on Amazon for £47.22 ($62) good luck and enjoy.
