Rockstar Games has confirmed on Twitter that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Table Tennis will be coming to Xbox One next week and people are losing their shit over it all.

As of Thursday 7 June, Rockstar Games classics like the west coast GTA classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the breakneck high-speed racing Midnight Club: Los Angeles and the fast and fluid competition of Table Tennis will be available - and backwards compatible.

According to The Verge, for those who own the original discs, both the original Xbox and Xbox 360 versions of the games will be supported on Microsoft's latest console.

So you can download them from the 'Ready to Install' section of their Xbox One and play to your heart's content. Physical game owners can just pop the Xbox 360 game disc, or Xbox game disc as well for GTA: San Andreas, into their Xbox One and download the game.

Easy as one, two, three isn't it? Enjoy guys.

But it seems some people aren't best pleased with this news. And by people, we mean PlayStation users. Because the games aren't going to be compatible with the PS4, and gamers have taken to Twitter to complain that Rockstar is only satisfying Xbox One owners.

One said: "U serious? What about the PS4 users? We don't get anything?"

And another added: "Okay but we need it on PS4 more than on Xbox. All I'm saying is I want to play Midnight Club on PS4."

A third commented: "I've been wanting this for ps4 for a long time! Why can't @PlayStation have backwards compatibility to? They'd be so much better!"

Rockstar Games

Earlier this month, Rockstar dropped the trailer for the hotly-anticipated (and much-delayed) Red Dead Redemption 2, after keeping cards close to its chest.

It won't be released until October and we still don't know all that much about what exactly the missions will be like but it clearly involves train heists, burning buildings and shooting the shit out of everyone to become the fastest gun in the West.

Whether you carry out all the missions for the Dutch van der Linde gang or do a few side pieces to double cross them is anyone's guess.

Maybe Xbox gamers can occupy themselves with three of the biggest games until October? Just an idea.
