They both begin with 'p' but only one of them has been searched more times than any other word in the world over the past few weeks.
Apparently Pokémon Go has been searched online more times than porn since its release.
That's right, more people would rather go and find an asphyxiating Magikarp on a street corner than beat their meat to a... well, a different kind of asphyxiating Magikarp.
Porn isn't often knocked off the top spot very often when it comes to online searches. In recent history only Brexit managed to do that, and that's because all those people usually searching for porn were taking five minutes out of their day to find out what on Earth they were voting for.
But Pokémon Go is different. It has quite literally taken the world by storm, getting more installs than Tinder in the US and getting more active daily users than Twitter.

It took less than a week for it to surpass porn as the most searched term on the Internet on 11th July.
Now is probably a good time to remind everyone that it's only been released in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Germany.
That is staggering success and is most definitely the most successful mobile game app of all time by a country mile.
