Pope Simulator Will Let You Play As His Holiness

It looks fun and educational.

If you've ever wanted to dress in the holiest of holy robes and command a loyal army of millions then this is your chance.

There is pretty much a simulator game for every taste and interest, however Steam has just unveiled the one that will beat them all.

Move over Flight Simulator, Goat Simulator and even Farming Simulator, this Pope Simulator game looks unreal.

I don't suppose many of us have ever wondered what it would be like to spend a day in the life of the Pope. It's not really a job or a lifestyle that screams excitement, let's face it. But on the off-chance that you are curious, the upcoming Pope Simulator could be just what you're looking for.

The synopsis for the game says: "Realistic simulator of the Pope - face the problems of the modern world from the point of view of the head of the Church. Make decisions that will weigh on the fate of humanity, convert and support the crowds. Plan the church's strategic actions through faithful envoys. Manage your travels around the globe. Fight for peace."

Sounds riveting and educational. What a combination.

Some of the things that you'll be able to do in Pope Simulator are 'influence the world's fortunes', 'interfere in international politics', 'fight for peace on Earth', and use the 'strength of your faith to help others'. This is going to be lit.

You might just pick up a few hints and tips about being a good Catholic as well while playing this.

But this isn't the first holy game that is on the horizon. The upcoming I Am Jesus Christ will let you play as the man himself - though, like Pope Simulator, it doesn't have a release date quite yet.

There have been loads of simulator games to hit the market over the past few years as developers get more crafty with their designs. On one end of the scale, gamers can soak up the world with Microsoft's Flight Simulator, and then on the other hand you can truck your way across the continent in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
