June’s Free PS Plus Games Are Out Now
PlayStation's PS Plus service releases monthly games and the June edition is now available for subscribing players.
The free releases include titles for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, and Sony has given you some brilliant choices to choose from.
Motorcycle favourite Trials Fusion is one of the PS4 games up for grabs. The 8/10 rated game (Gamespot) follows a pretty standard goal, as players use their two wheeled speed machine to finish obstacle riddled courses in the fastest time possible. You don't only compete with the game, however, as you're able to compare your times to players worldwide.
Another PS4 title released this month will be strategy game XCOM 2. This tactically genius game will give you hours of stressful, yet free, fun, as you travel into the year 2035 with the aim of sabotaging the alien race that has taken over planet Earth. It will take time to get used to the turn based game, where every move needs complete consideration, but once it clicks you'll be restoring you conquered planet back to normality in no time.
Ghost Recon: Future Solider might sound like a familiar Captain America film but this release of the classic Tom Clancy series will give you a few more hours of pure entertainment, we guarantee. PS3 players will be able to jump straight into this realistic action game that boats a futuristic tone, where invisibility and X-ray vision are just some of abilities at your disposal.
Another vehicle based game is also on the list but for the PS3, this time. Zombie Driver HD allows you to mow down Zombies with pleasure as you look down from the skies upon all of the destruction you've caused. It's not a game with a complex story or in depth characters but it is definitely good fun to use school buses and flamethrowers to vanquish the undead.
Onto the PS Vita now and there are two games for this device, also. Action multiplayer Atomic Ninjas uses a platform system and holds a number of game modes for you to compete in, including deathmatch or capture the flag. The last on the list is puzzle title Squares and it's one of those games made to fit in during quiet moments of the day. It's fast-paced, minimalistic approach will undoubtedly test your patience and is well worth picking up.
