They've been teasing us over the last couple of days, and now we finally have a) a name b) a release date and c) a trailer for the new Red Dead.
As one of the most original games over at least the last decade, Rockstar Games were probably anticipating the whirlwind that these teaser pictures have created.
Every single picture has got at least 100k likes on Facebook. To be fair, they've probably infested your newsfeed over the last 48 hours as gamers shared them.

I love it when people get excited about games. You know that everyone will be dedicating at least 100 hours of their time to it, so why not get a bit giddy?

Sadly, we're going to have to wait until Autumn 2017 to get our hands on Red Dead Redemption 2. Well, for PS4 and Xbox One. Rockstar have yet to comment on PC.
Luckily, the trailer drops on Thursday at 11am EST (or 4pm in Britain), so we can torment ourselves at what we could be playing... in a year.

Can we talk about the name for a second, though? Red Dead Redemption 2? Really? As the third in a series, that's like instead of J.K. Rowling naming the third book The Prisoner of Azkaban, she'd just say: 'ayyyy, nevermind. How about Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 2?'
