Xbox One To Get Fallout 76 Beta First
The Fallout 76 beta will become available for Xbox One players before anyone else, thanks to an official statement.
Bethesda teased game just before E3, which can be seen as a Fallout 3 10th anniversary celebration title, and it is one of the most anticipated launches of this year.
Through an FAQ on Bethesda's website, they revealed that the game will first come to the Xbox system and will later be released for PS4 and PC. No platform has yet received an official release date, but with the game set to come out 14 November it should be coming any time soon.
Xbox players will probably feel some sort of justice with this, with the amount of PS4 exclusives shown at E3 this year, such as Spider-Man, The Last of Us Part 2 , and Ghost of Tsushima. It isn't an Xbox only game, but still, every little helps.
There is a catch though, as the only possible way for players to be able to get hold of this beta is by pre-ordering the game. It's a pretty decent bonus to be honest, but we would like to see other added content for buying the game early, too.
This title won't take up the normal features of a Fallout game, as this RPG will be totally focused on online survival. This means that some of the classic content might not be on show but it is still sure to be an epic adventure.
With the setting being 20 years after The Great War it will boast a much more primitive atmosphere of what the world would be like in its post-apocalyptic state, something we can't wait to experience.
If you're a PS4 or PC gamer, does this bother you? We're not yet sure why Microsoft is bagging the early beta for its console device, or whether it really matters that much, but if you fancy getting involved make sure you pre-order full game.
