If you froth over love, sunshine, and all the chaos of reality television, then get ready because casting for the next season of Love Island Australia is officially open.

Given the hardships of the past year, who wouldn't want to be living it up in a resort while getting it on with some equally single hotties?

Channel Nine has now put out the call for anyone who is willing to show how good their banter is on national television for the third season of the addictive reality series.

While a leader is yet to be announced for season three - former Bachelorette Sophie Monk previously hosted the series - the forthcoming season is expected to take place at a Gold Coast villa in the coming months, because of Covid-19, obviously.

You can apply online here, with the casting call reading:

"Love is back on the agenda. Do you have the smile, sex appeal and sass it takes to be an Islander? How do you feel about enjoying your very own long hot summer of romance?

"Love Island will be back for 2021 and we're now on the lookout for singles from across the country to take part.

"Once again, our Islanders will take up residence in a spectacular luxury villa in the hope of finding love."

It continues: "So if you are sexy, young AND SINGLE, aged 19 - 32, and ready to join 'Love Island', Apply Here. And remember, you must be warm, honest, open and truly looking for love."

Basically, wannabe Instagram influencers need not apply (though we're 100% sure they will anyway).

So if you're keen on some steamy villa shenanigans and aren't phased about hooking up with randoms for the entire nation to see, then get onto it ASAP, you naughty little love rat, you.
