The always-controversial Azealia Banks has once again shocked us all with the revelation that she happens to own the skull of a dead six-year-old girl.

In case you missed Banks' previous drama last week, the rapper came under fire after she filmed herself digging up her dead cat, Lucifer, and boiling its remains on Instagram Live.

Speaking about the fiasco on KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show, Banks attempted to clear up the whole cat soup drama and denied that she ate the cat after boiling it.

"No, I didn't eat the cat," she told the shocked hosts.

"And I especially did not eat a cat that's been dead for three months.

"It wasn't that sick ... There are people who have urns of their family members sitting on the mantel so I don't want to hear about me 'eating cats'."

She then explained that it was for taxidermy purposes, which she said was a hobby of hers.

"I don't know what you think happens when you go to medical school and you see a full skull or a full skeleton there," she said.

Banks later explained that her deceased cat had died several months ago from a kidney stone that was the result of a 'poor diet'.

"When I first got him when I was 18 I didn't know you had to feed the cat actual meat. I thought you just had to get some kibble and bits and some kitty litter and the cat will be fine," she said.

"My cat pretty much died from a poor diet. He got sick and he had a kidney stone."

Just when you think the conversation couldn't get any stranger, Banks then revealed that she often buys human bones online for her morbid collection, before holding up the skull of a dead child for the radio hosts to see via Zoom.

"There are lots of scientific research websites where you can actually buy human skulls like this one," the 212 rapper said via Zoom, seemingly holding up a skull for Kyle and Jackie O to see.

"I bought it from the boneroom.com and this is actually the skull of a six-year-old girl who died from head trauma," she said when asked how on earth she managed to find such an item.

"I love bones... I respect the afterlife... I think that the bone is where the energy holds for a person," she added.

It certainly not the first time Banks has caused a stir when it comes to controversial practices.

In 2017, she shocked social media after posting a video of a bloodstained room she uses for 'witchcraft', with rumours swirling that she used room to regularly sacrifice chickens.
