Drake has been accused of visiting a strip club just one day after the Astroworld tragedy.

Nine people died and dozens were injured last weekend after a huge crowd surge erupted during Travis Scott's performance at his music festival.

Drake was one of the artists who performed alongside the 'Sicko Mode' rapper and he issued a statement several days after the horrible catastrophe expressing sympathy for the victims.

However, social media footage been found showing dancers at the Area 29 strip club in Houston thanking Drake for spending an incredible amount of money on them.

DJ Akademiks posted a video that shows piles of bills left on the floor and the women get prompted to say 'thank you Drake'.

The strip club also tagged the Toronto rapper in a now-deleted post saying: "Thank u @champagnepapi @roddyricch @dontoliver @ubk.ent @lira_galore @realberniceburgos @realamarie @kayykilo @turkeyleghut @bookedbymolo last night vibes was on point GRAND FINALE TONIGHT SUNDAY FUNDAY."

They wrote in another post: "2 floors covered with money and EVERY DANCER who worked last night went home happy."

The New York Post and Yahoo News report upwards of $1 million dollars was given to the dancers, however it's unclear whether Drake was the sole contributor of that or if the other people tagged helped out.

Either way, it's not a good look.

Travis Scott reportedly wasn't told that people had died or were injured at his music festival until he had arrived at an after-party, which was hosted by Drake.

Drake issued a statement several days after the tragedy, where he told his followers: "I've spent the past few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy.

"I hate resorting to this platform to express an emotion as delicate as grief but this is where I find myself.

"My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for anyone who is suffering.

"I will continue to pray for all of them, and will be of service in any way I can. May God be with you all."

Travis Scott said he is working with the families of the victims in the wake of the disaster and he also said he would refund everyone who attended.

However, there are also more than 100 lawsuits that have been filed against Scott, Drake, the promoters and organisers of Astroworld.

Many are suing for negligence and are seeking millions of dollars in damages.
