According to the Official Trending chart, Ed Sheeran is set to hit the number one spot again, this time with rappers Eminem and 50 Cent. The track 'Remember The Name' is just one of the two of his tracks battling it out for top spot as 'Take Me Back To London' Ft. Stormzy is currently number two.

The track comes from his brand-new album 'No. 6 Collaborations' which features a number of household names such as Travis Scott, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, Camila Cabello, Young Thug, Skrillex, Chris Stapleton, Bruno Mars, Stormzy and others.

Taking in sales and streams between Friday - Sunday, the record has so far notched up 64,000 chart sales, driven by 32,000 physical sales, 14,000 album downloads and 23.1 million track streams. The album is currently outperforming the rest of the Top 40 combined.

This isn't the first time that Eminem has worked with Ed and Fiddy. Ed and Em combined forces to create number 1 single River in 2017, he's also charted with 50 three times with You Don't Know with Lloyd Banks (2007), Crack A Bottle with Dr Dre (2009), and My Life with Adam Levine (2013).

Known as the most influential white rapper of all time, Slim Shady has worked with some of the best musicians around and has sold over 40 million albums in the US alone. His net worth is set to be around $210million (£167million) which makes him one of the most profitable rappers ever.

Someone else looking to capitalise off Ed's latest hit is Ty Jones, a lad who looks exactly the same as the ginger crooner. Unlike Ed though, Ty has been working for 7 years in a bingo hall.

"Usually people start with 'I bet you hear this a lot' and I just end the sentence for them...Ed Sheeran," says the 24-year-old.

"I have people coming over crying and shaking, as if I am actually Ed, they say 'I know you're trying to keep a low profile', and sometimes they're that worked up they can't even get a selfie in focus because their hands are shaking.

"If they're that hyped up you feel guilty letting them down by saying I'm not actually Ed."

It has taken him to some interesting places though.
He said: "The weirdest moment I've had was at a circus. I felt like a bit of a misfit, they had me standing in a tent - there was Homer Simpson sat on a couch, characters from Monsters Inc and they just stuck me in there too. It was pretty good, I got paid £800."

If you're not an Ed fan then you're probably best avoiding the radio for the time being, as he's set to rule the airwaves for months to come.Featured Image Credit: PA
