There's no doubt 2020 was tough for all of us, but one family has used the difficult time as inspiration for creating a hilarious Daniel Andrews Covid-19 press conference themed New Year's Eve party.

A TikTok user with the handle @andogrox posted the hilarious video on her account, complete with Mashd N Kutcher's 'Get On The Beers' as the soundtrack.

They added a purple backdrop, black-framed glasses and a North Face jacket. Simply iconic.

The epic video, titled 'A tribute to Victoria (and Dan the Man)' has since gone viral with over 126,000 views and 54,900 likes.

"2020 will be remembered for getting on the beers," one user commented on the clip.

Another added: "This is great ... I can't be clearer than that."

The vid even caught the attention of Mashd N Kutcher, who declared: "This is unreal."

"No U," androgrox replied.

Dandrew's 'Get On The Beers' quote - and Mashd N Kutcher's epic remix - has become quite the true blue meme across Australia amid the coronavirus pandemic, with one remix of the track even featuring Tiger King's big cat queen Carole Baskin.

"Hey Dan Andrews, it's Carole Baskin from Big Cat Rescue and I know you've been spending a lot of time working hard down at the zoo but we all want you to take a well-deserved break and get on the beers," the Netflix star said in the video.

"Because that is your civic duty, that's what's most important and that's what must be done."

As well as this, some Aussie legends also turned the 'Get On The Beers' remix into an impressive Christmas light show over the holidays.

The home was located in Kings Park in Melbourne's north west and will no doubt have many drive bys until Christmas Day. You can view the whole video here.

The owner has managed to construct the lights in such a way that the lyrics perfectly match up with the song to spread the best festive spirit.

People were been well and truly blown away by the setup and were encouraging their mates to try and top it.

One Facebook user wrote: "This is the greatest thing I have ever seen."

Another said: "Politics and Christmas... who knew it was such a great combination."

A third added: "You've done Victoria proud by getting on the beers and doing your civic duty."
