Fans have been absolutely blown away after hearing Zayn Malik's normal speaking voice.
The former One Direction star posted a live video to Instagram talking about his new music off the back of the release of his album Nobody's Listening.
More than 183,000 people tuned in to listen to Zayn speak about a 'sick' new song.
"I've recorded a sick song today. It might seem a bit weird. I just sat at a computer. I looped four bars. But that's all I can say. It's sick, right?" he told his millions of followers.
While fans will no doubt be cheering about the idea of more tracks from the singer, many were hearing his voice for the first time and couldn't believe it.
One person wrote on Twitter: "Just realised he speaks like that."
Another added: "Wait wtffff thats his accent?!"
A third said: "This is not what i expected Zayn to sound like."
Clearly a lot of these people weren't around when Zayn was a contestant on X Factor UK and millions of people watched him rise through the ranks in the singing competition alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
You would have seen him speak with his Bradford, West Yorkshire accent all the time.
Loads of Twitter users were surprised that this was the first time they had heard Zayn speak, with one person writing: "The fact people are just now finding out what Zayn sounds like. Iconic."
However, the conversation took a different turn after some people claimed the singer started the live stream at 6am (EST). He was seen smoking a cigarette and eating pizza and many questioned his actions on account he and girlfriend Gigi Hadid recently welcomed a newborn.
The celebrity duo thanked everyone for their well-wishers when the baby girl was born.
Zayn wrote on Twitter: "Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task.
"The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x."
