Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight YouTuber Logan Paul on June 3.

Mayweather Productions confirmed the bout will take place in a tweet with a promotional poster, adding that the 'the historic crossover event is signed & sealed!'

The two originally were supposed to go head-to-head back in February, however it had to be delayed.

Paul blamed the push-back on 'business complications'.

"The Mayweather fight is pushed [back] which I am completely OK with," he said a few months ago.

"The fight's still happening [but] we want to have a packed arena somewhere and then the business side of things, we have to iron them out.

"He's got a lot of people on his team, [his advisor] Al Haymon got involved, if you know boxing, you know what that means for getting an actual deal done and figuring out a venue."

Despite Mayweather retiring with a perfect 50-0 boxing record, the fighter has come out of retirement for exhibition matches.

The most notable was against MMA star Conor McGregor, who he beat in August 2017. Mayweather also defeated kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition fight on New Year's Eve the following year.

Paul will be hoping to get a win on the board as he currently has a boxing record of 0-1. He was beaten by fellow YouTuber KSI.

The YouTuber-cum-fighter has previously said how he will need a lot of time to get ready for the showdown with the five-weight division world champion.

"I need as much practice, training, sparring under my belt against this guy," he said. "With every day that goes past I get better and he gets older."
