Kanye West has continued a massive Twitter rant about fighting against music labels by posting a video of him appearing to urinate on his Grammy award.

The 43-year-old has revealed he is currently battling the likes of Sony and UMG over the rights to his music.

He's angry about the idea that the companies are making millions of dollars by owning the masters to his songs. West has promised to change the way music contracts are done in the future to help his fellow musicians.

But he chucked a very figurative middle finger to his music labels by desecrating one of his coveted awards.

He uploaded the video to Twitter, adding: "Trust me ... I WONT STOP" and is part of a tirade that has lasted for the last few days.

Kanye, who actually has 21 of the coveted awards to his name, has long been a critic of the music industry and has recently called it 'modern day slavery'.

He has posted a lengthy thread of tweets that seem to show his contract with Universal Music Group. In short, he wants to be released from his publishing deals with the company.

He wrote: "Here are my ten Universal contracts... I need every lawyer in the world to look at these."

Kanye literally posted every single page of his employment contract. It was a long read.

He said: "This is what me Kanye West deal looks like today. I PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS THAT IT DON'T LOOK LIKE THIS TOMORROW."

In addition to the video and contract images, he's called himself the new Moses, likened himself to King Arthur and said he wouldn't release new music until his contract dispute was settled.

Kanye has condemned the whole music industry, but has noticeably not been to the Grammy awards since 2015.

His albums My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch the Thrones were both missed out of the Album of the Year nominations in 2012. He wasn't best pleased at the fact, prompting him to bring it up at a concert.

He said: "Since when was making art about getting rich?...Remind me again why we in this s***? Remind me again why the Grammys [can] suck my d***."

And then, in 2015 - his infamous stage storm took place, when he stormed the stage complaining that Beck had won an award over Beyonce.

In a later interview he said: "The Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We aren't going to play with them no more. Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyonce."

He's not the only one - Drake and Frank Ocean have also both questioned the Grammys - Ocean even said that he didn't want his record to be considered for the 2017 awards.
