Kim Kardashian Is Devastated After Failing Her Law Exam

She feels like a 'failure' after studying 'six weeks straight, 10 to 12 hours a day'.

Kim Kardashian has revealed her heartache at failing her law exam.

Dubbed the 'Baby Bar', the reality-TV-star-turned-hopeful-lawyer explained in the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians how she didn't get enough marks to get through the First Year Law Student Exam (FYLSE).

The FYLSE is what law students need to pass in order to sit the actual Bar Exam and it sounds pretty rough.

Students have seven hours to write four essays and it's used by unaccredited law schools in California. You need to get more than 70 per cent to pass and Kim fell just a tiny bit short.

She sat her sisters down in the episode to open up on a difficult moment for her.

"If you are doing law school the way I'm doing it, it is a four-year program instead of your typical three-year program, and after year one, you have to take the Baby Bar," she said in a teaser for the episode.

"This was actually harder, I hear, than the official bar."

Kim's mentor, attorney Jessica Jackson, gave some comforting advice to the 40-year-old over a video call.

"You needed a 560, you got a 474. That is extremely close on a test that most people are not taking in the middle of a pandemic," she said.

Kim explains her devastation over the result and questions whether she has the tenacity to prepare for the next test.

"I am a failure. I spent six weeks straight, 10 to 12 hours a day, studying and it was so important for me to take this," she said. "And to not pass gets your spirit down and just makes you want to give up."

Her sisters rally around her and said their dad, Robert Kardashian, who was a lawyer, would be super proud of her for getting this far.

This was filmed around October last year and the question then begs whether Kim will sit it again in November.

But, in typical fashion, it's not that simple.

She tells her family: "Like, I can't do it again. I don't have time. To do the next test is in November. And I'm filming the ending of our show, which will be so emotional. I have every birthday under the sun, you know, it's my birthday - my 40th - I planned this whole trip and it's too late to cancel. And if I fail again, it's like, what's the point?

"I don't want to wait another year to go by for school. I feel like I just got to the end where I almost knew everything. I don't know, I really need to think about it."

While we don't know what Kim decided to do, we do know that she continued filming the show and threw a lavish birthday party. She also saw the breakdown of her marriage to Kanye West, so it might have been too much for her to take the FYLSE in November.
