Logan Paul is thanking his prized Pokémon card for helping him get through eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather.

The YouTuber-cum-boxer walked out into the Hard Rock Stadium on June 6 with the encased shiny Charizard card hanging on a chain around his neck.

Many were surprised and confused why he'd be wearing such a thing ahead of a boxing bout.

However, people who are familiar with his content will remember how he paid $150,000 for a box that contained the valuable and rare fire Pokémon card.

Despite that being a hell of a lot of money, Logan reckons it's now worth a lot more.

"This is a Pokémon card, it's a BGS 10 first edition Charizard. It is one of three in the world, it is my prized possession," he said in his post-fight press conference.

"Ever since I got this graded a 10, the momentum in my life has been crazy - this is my good luck charm, this is my prized possession.

"Estimated value, I mean, now - s**t, this is a million-dollar card, baby. Like this is the card I walked out with to the Floyd Mayweather fight, this is a million-dollar card."

Kotaku has hit back saying the card probably isn't worth that much on its own. However, it could certainly sell for that amount now that it has been a part of sporting history.

Paul and Mayweather went head-to-head in Miami in a highly anticipated exhibition boxing match, which left many disappointed.

Viewers were hoping to see someone get knocked out and when that didn't happen it meant there was no winner or loser.

It was a huge upset for Mayweather considering his 50-0 boxing record and a massive theoretical win for Paul because he managed to last through all eight rounds without being KO'd.

The YouTuber has also responded to claims his Mayweather knocked him out during the fight and held him up so the bout could continue.

A video of the fight shows Mayweather and Paul going punch-for-punch, with the boxing legend dodging a jab from his opponent before successfully clocking him on the side of the head.

Mayweather then immediately closes in on Paul and appears to grab him around the torso as Paul seemingly droops forwards, potentially unconscious.

However, Mayweather keeps his gloves close to Paul's face and the YouTuber soon begins to hit back once again.

Logan uploaded three stories to his Instagram saying that was absolutely ridiculous and it was shameful that people were trying to discredit his performance in Miami.
