Mel B Denies Secret Romance With Jess Glynne On Spice Girls Tour
| Last updated
The Spice Girls have been back in the headlines ever since they announced their epic reunion tour. Despite being plagued with a series of sound issues early on, Spice Girls super fans have been treated a nostalgia-packed set list with Jess Glynne providing the support. She's said to have gotten increasingly closer to Mel B, 44, over the last month.
According to rumours, things got a little bit spicy behind the scenes between Mel B and Jess, 29, who's admitted to looking up to the the all-girl group from an early age.
An inside source told The Sun:
"It was a bucket-list moment when she [Jess] was asked to support the group.
"After they performed the gig in Manchester last month, Jess ended up partying with Mel in her dressing room until 7am. They became so close while on tour that there were whispers behind the scenes that they were having a secret romance."
Mel B, who has always been open about her sexuality and her attraction to both men and women has recently claimed to have had a fling with Ginger Spice back in the 1990s, so maybe she has a thing for redheads?
The Hold My Hand singer also addressed her own sexuality in 2018 after the track from her first album 'I Cry When I Laugh' was said to be written following the end of a long-term relationship with a girl. She told Attitude Magazine:
"It is just not something that I've never enjoyed talking about because I am a private person, and it's not something that is necessary for people to know.
"At the end of the day, I didn't do this job for people to know everything about me but at the same time I am aware of the fact that I write music that is personal and people want to know what that is about.
"It's not something that I'm scared of, it's just something that I don't entertain in a deep way. I don't like to put myself in a box in anything in my life.
"However, despite the starstruck singer's admiration for the 'Say You'll Be There' star, Mel B apparently doesn't 'wannabe her lover' as the insider told The Sun:
"Mel is adamant they're just pals."
It isn't clear whether the fiery pair are cooling off after a romantic month together, or if they've just become great friends bonding over a love of pop music. Whether that's the end of the story, or the 2 eventually become 1, we'll keep you up to date with the latest developments here on LADbible.
