Move over Sharknado, a new film about terrifying creatures lurking inside a massive tornado is on its way.
Introducing Arachnado (they really didn't think too much about the title, hey?), a movie about, you guessed it, spiders inside a tornado.
This is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated films of 2020 because it just looks incredible.
The trailer shows us Los Angeles in all its glory, with a radio announcer warning people to be on the lookout for cyclones. But as a tornado brews in the distance, people quickly realise that it's containing something way more sinister than just air.
Spiders of all shapes and sizes are floating around and waiting for the opportune time to drop to the ground and wreak havoc on terrified citizens.
They don't give much away in terms of how the good people of LA are going to fight these CGI beasts, but we're betting that it's going to be littered with heroic moments.
Arachnado is directed by Dustin Ferguson, who has already given people the likes of Los Angeles Shark Attack, Angry Asian Murder Hornets, and Ebola Rex.With credentials like those, you know it's going to be brilliant.
The movie will feature Mel Novak (Bruce Lee's Game of Death), Deborah Dutch (Hard to Die), Brinke Stevens (Slumber Party Massacre), and Shawn C. Phillips (Ghost Shark).
It's obviously very similar to the wildly successful Sharknado film franchise, where, yes you guessed it, people have to fight off sharks that get whipped up by tornados. The first film in the saga wasn't exactly incredible, but it's since gone on to have six, read 'em, six films in the franchise.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused scores of anticipated films like A Quiet Place II and Halloween Kills, so it looks like Arachnado is going to have to suffice for 2020.
It's slated for release as Video On Demand for America's Thanksgiving, which is November 26. So mark you calendars people because this will be a cinematic experience that you do not want to miss.
