FIFA 20 Official Soundtrack Released: Including Major Lazer, Loyle Carner and Serge Pizzorno

One of the things that makes FIFA great, apart from Ultimate Team is their soundtracks. There have been a fair few FIFA bangers over the years - like Dizzee Rascal & Calvin Harris in FIFA 17, Kasabian in FIFA 15 and, of course, Blur on FIFA: Road To World Cup 98.

However, they've outdone themselves this year. FIFA 20 has two separate soundtracks featuring over 100 tracks total representing more than 20 countries that play in two individual modes - standard and VOLTA FOOTBALL.

According to EA Sports, the first soundtrack has 43 tracks and features marquee names like UK grime icon Skepta; American neo-soul hitmaker BJ The Chicago Kid; Spanish vocalists - and VMA showstoppers - ROSALÍA & Ozuna; Israeli singer/songwriter Dennis Lloyd; hot Philly female rapper Tierra Whack; London indie rockers Another Sky; DC breakout rapper GoldLink; Norwegian R&B stars Fieh; Brooklyn singer-songwriter Cautious Clay; UK rock favorites Foals; Australian electropop star Flume; Florida rapper/singer Dominic Fike; UK hip-hop musician and Mercury Prize nominee Loyle Carner; and The S.L.P., the solo project of Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian (AKA The SLP) featuring London rapper/singer Little Simz.

The VOLTA FOOTBALL soundtrack has 70 tracks from artists that include Diplo's electronic trio Major Lazer; Norwegian viral sensation JB Scofield; reunited Cash Money icons Birdman & Juvenile; legendary Italian DJ Benny Benassi; the Heavy Baile sounds of Brazilian DJ Leo Justi; hot Chicago duo Louis The Child; the Mexico/U.S. hip-hop/EDM collaboration Don Elektron; underground L.A. producer Hoodboi; Harlem rapper Skizzy Mars; Guernsey electronic phenom Mura Masa; and Grammy nominated soul/funk/hip-hop innovator Anderson .Paak.

Que Calor by Major Lazer ft. J Balvin and El Alfa looks to be the standout hit on this version. Producer of the song, Diplo says that the track was influenced by the culture and lifestyle of street football.

He said: "We were really excited to be able to produce the lead track that is featured in the new Volta Football mode.

"When we shared an early version of the track with EA Sports FIFA team they loved it, so we knew we had to finish it and release the single"

EA Sports revealed VOLTA football for the first time at E3 2019. They describe it as, "A brand-new style of gameplay grounded in football realism which immerses players in the flow of the street with new tools including simplified flicks and skill moves, new flair animations, or using the wall as a teammate."

If you're familiar with the old FIFA Street games I think you'll feel at home with VOLTA.

With rivals PES 2020 coming out earlier this week with brilliant reviews, the FIFA community will be hoping that EA can match it.
