A new teaser for the final season of Peaky Blinders has revealed that Alfie Solomons might be making a comeback.

Fans thought Tom Hardy's character was killed off in season four, only for him to seemingly come back from the dead in the following instalment.

Not much was known about whether he would be included in the sixth and final season and it looks like we've finally been given that answer.

A new 10-second clip has been released on social media and it certainly confirms Alfie is back, back, back again.

The short teaser shows Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy) walking towards the camera before saying: "Alfie, I think I may have written your final act."

The camera then cuts to Solomon with a much fuller beard and standing tall with an ominous look in his face.

It will no doubt be music to people's ears to hear that Tom Hardy's character will be part of how the show ends, but how he contributes to Tommy Shelby's Peaky Blinders gang is yet to be seen.

The director for the sixth and final season of the incredible Peaky Blinders has revealed it will be coming sooner than expected.

We haven't yet been told exactly when we can expect to see the award-winning show on our streaming services, except that it will premiere sometime in the first half of next year.

Well, whenever the BBC and Netflix were planning on dropping the next instalment, it looks like that date might have been brought forward.

Director Anthony Byrne wrote on Instagram: "We're coming for you sooner than you think."

While that's not a lot to go off, it's the biggest announcement we've had in a long time so we'll take whatever we can get.

The end of Byrne's teaser simply says 'Early 2022', so let's hope that means the first three months because fans will probably not want to wait a minute longer.

The show's creator, Steven Knight, revealed earlier this year that we could be getting some spinoff series about certain characters in the Peaky universe.

That means there could be some prequels into characters who have been lost during the show or there could be a series that follows individuals who manage to survive beyond season six and the movie.

Considering Solomons is one of the most rated characters in the show, it would only make sense to do something on him and his backstory.
