It's been three years since we said goodbye to the world of Prison Break in the fifth season.
A sixth has been widely speculated for years however nothing has ever been confirmed or brought to fruition.
But we've now been given the best indication it's finally on the way.

Star Dominic Purcell appears to have confirmed that a sixth season of the vastly popular Fox show is going to happen after all.
In a cryptic post on his Instagram account, the actor, who played inmate Lincoln Burrows, wrote: "Rumor number 1. I'm old. Yes. I'm 50.....
"Rumor number 2. I'm bald. No I have a full head of hair; the people demand I shave it.

"Rumor number 3, Will season pb 6 happen. Yes.....
"Rumor number 4. Do I like humans? No. Not on mass. Definitely not."
Well, well, well. Obviously, we'll have to wait for something more official before getting too excited, but it's definitely an encouraging sign.
The show was last spotted on screens worldwide in 2017, and Purcell's statements that season six is definitely on the cards are at odds with what we've heard in the past from the network that makes the programme.

Fox Entertainment's CEO Charlie Collier said in August 2019 that the network didn't plan to bring the show back.
He said: "There's no plan right now to revive Prison Break or any of the other franchises, but when the creators come with a story that they think is the right time to tell, we are so ready to listen because those are some franchises of which I'm so proud and feel so fortunate that they're in our stable."
If Purcell's words are anything to go by, then it seems like between August 2019 and September 2020, someone has come up with a story that is juicy enough to revive the series.

But, let's keep in mind that this isn't the first time Dominic has teased the idea of a sixth season.
In another slightly rambling Instagram post from earlier this year, Purcell said: "I get smashed with 'when is #prisonbreak 6 happening'. What I can promise is this. We are all in agreement that if the story is worthy it will get made.
"Now with the horror of this #virus the calamity of it all drills inside me a new focus a steely resolve with PRISON BREAK 6- I'm very optimistic with #socialdistancing and a fierce adherence to expert opinion on how to beat this catastrophic unprecedented event, we all as one will be victorious over #coronavirus - corporations such as #netflix are desperate for content."
We'll have to wait and see for an official announcement.
