Warner Bros. has revealed the release date for The Batman has been pushed back by several months.
The movie studio was due to drop the Robert Pattinson-led movie on 1 October next year, however it's now been delayed to 4 March 2022.
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has caused production to be delayed several times and Warner Bros. wants to give the cast and crew more time to get everything done.
In addition to The Batman, the highly-anticipated Dune film adaptation has bee delayed from 18 December this year to 1 October 2021.
The only shred of happiness that can be gleaned from Warner Bros' schedule reshuffle is that the fourth Matrix film has been brought forward by four months.
Instead of debuting on 1 April 2022, it'll now be released on 22 December 2021.
Of course, all these dates are tentative and hopefully the movie studio will stick with them, however, as long as this pandemic continues, nothing is 100 percent certain.
