Saved By The Bell's Dustin Diamond Diagnosed With Stage 4 Cancer

Dustin Diamond, actor from the iconic series Saved By The Bell, has been diagnosed with cancer.

He was recently hospitalised and is now undergoing treatment to attack the disease.

A statement on his Facebook says: "At this time we can confirm that Dustin does have cancer. Dustin Will disclose more information once it is available and a plan moving forward is made."

A representative for the actor has told Entertainment Weekly the diagnosis is 'serious'.

"He's undergoing chemo so he will be there at least another week and then we will figure out when he gets to come home," the rep said.

"By next week, we'll have a much better understanding of the severity of his condition and what treatments he will need so that he's comfortable."

His team has given fans an address that they can mail cards and gifts, however have asked that no one sends in autograph requests.
