Shannon Noll will forever be one of those iconic players in Australian stardom.

After coming second in the first season of Australian Idol, he was catapulted into the Aussie celebrity stratosphere and has been a cult favourite ever since.

While he's always been out of reach for us regular folk, Nollsie has decided to give back.

The singer has teamed up with a jeweller to give one Australian couple the wedding present of a lifetime.

Shannon has agreed to give a VIP experience to a bride and groom on the day of their nuptials in front of all their loved ones.

The caveat is that the couple have to buy their rings from the jeweller in question, however once that's completed, you're allowed to go into the running.

Simon Curwood Jewellers says on its website: "Entry is open to Australian residents that have purchased two wedding bands from Simon Curwood Jewellers.

"It's OK if you haven't purchased your wedding bands yet, you can still enter now and our team will help you custom make your perfect set prior to the cut-off on March 31."

After promoting the competition on his Facebook page, there have been more than 11,000 comments from people keen on the idea.

It seems like everyone wants a massive rockstar performance on the day they say 'I Do'.

One person wrote: "This is tempting. Not sure the gf would agree, but I'd love to have Nollsie and his crew sing and play at my wedding."

Another added: "Imagine. First dance. Nollsey aka swolezy introducing you with the objectively better version of 'angels brought me here' hnnnnnnng. 2021's true redemption arc."

A third said: "Could you imagine? Nollsy up on the stage at the mighty Borigaki Station playing out to the masses after me and Stretch have tied the knot. Everyone holding up their lighters sucking on a couple of lung busters while he belts out 'What About Me'. Iconic."

You have until the end of March to apply.
