Snoop Dogg Reveals His Mother, Beverly Tate, Has Died

Snoop Dogg has revealed his mother, Beverly Tate, has sadly died.

The rapper uploaded two images to social media where he has thanked her for everything she did for him.

In the first picture, it shows Snoop and Beverly together smiling and the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' star wrote alongside the post: "Mama thank u for having me."

The second is just a standalone image of Ms Tate in a red dress and hat.

"Thank u god for giving me an angel for a mother TWMA [Till We Meet Again]," he wrote on that post.

Beverly was admitted to hospital earlier this year and Snoop constantly asked his followers to send their prayers.

It hasn't been disclosed what illness or issue she was suffering to require hospital treatment.

In May, he posted a photo that also said: "Sending special prayers out for my mom this morning y'all pray for her and me."

Later in July he gave fans another update.

"Happy Sunday me and my brothers went to c mama today and she opened up her eyes to c us and let us know she still fighting. God is good thanks for all the prayers 1 day at a time," he said.
