It's no secret that Mark Labbett has been on a body transformation journey that has seen him dramatically cut down his size.

The Beast from The Chase has dropped 63kgs during this incredible weight loss mission and he's never looked better.

However, even though he has nearly shed the weight of a small person, he still gets ripped by his TV show's host, Bradley Walsh.

Mark told The Express: "[Bradley] has a pop at my weight but I haven't got the heaviest BMI [Body Mass Index] on the show.

"If he had a pop at other people on the show for their weight you know people would say, 'You can't say that.'

"He calls me fat and makes jokes about me, but I am."

While some might think that is toxic workplace culture and The Beast should be showered with praise for his body transformation, the brainiac says it's all good fun.

He has also revealed that he gives as good as he gets on The Chase set.

"I know [Bradley's] in charge. In my opinion, he is the best gameshow host in the world right now," Mark said. He's an absolute expert and he's generally funny.

"Sometimes I worry I've been a bit too mean to him but he just loves it when you come back with banter.

"He knows that I'm the ultimate straight guy in that he can have a pop at me over just about anything and nobody is going to get offended on my behalf."

He's warned Mr Walsh to 'bring it on' and see how savage he can get.

Mark has previously wondered whether he'll soon be the skinniest Chaser as he continues to be healthy and active.

The 6ft 6ins knowledge box first embarked on his weight loss journey several years ago, revealing that the show bought him a new suit after he achieved his first target.

He's been keeping fans updated with his slow but steady weight loss journey and has been congratulated by his followers for sticking with it.

Some also reckon he looks younger as a result of his new lifestyle.

One person commented: "You built a time capsule in lockdown? Look well younger here."

Another wrote: "Younger looking and you've lost weight. Well done, as you're looking good, not that you didn't before."

A third wrote: "How much weight have you lost! Looking good for it."

Appearing on Loose Women last year, he said he'd been 'eating a bit more sensibly' and 'doing more exercises these days'.
