There's no denying that The Greatest Showman was one of the biggest movies of 2017. With an incredible cast, epic songs and an awesome story to tell, what's not to love?

Well, if you've been wanting to watch it on repeat until you simply cant' sing 'This Is Me' anymore then you can from today. The iconic musical is finally dropping on Disney+ in Australia and elsewhere across the world.

Starring Hugh Jackman, the movie follows notorious hoaxer and circus founder PT Barnum as he begins to build his circus empire that would go on to change the world of entertainment.

The biographical musical also stars Zac Efron as Phillip Carlyle, the playwright who becomes Barnum's partner, and Michelle Williams as Barnum's wife, Charity Hallett-Barnum.

It was directed by Michael Gracey, who went on to become the executive producer of the 2019 Elton John biopic, Rocketman.

There were plenty of high and low moments (along with some high and low notes), with the film becoming the fifth-highest earning musical of all time.

Anyone gagging to see the further adventures of PT Barnum on the big screen will be glad to hear that Hugh Jackman has confirmed a sequel is in the works.

When asked about the possibility of a sequel on BBC Radio 2, he said: "No one is really sure right now, so that's the honest truth. But I think someone is working on a treatment for something... I know they are, they're working on a treatment for something."

Until we hear more, however, you can just keep watching the original over and over while you perfect singing along to your favourite tunes (and annoy everyone in close proximity to you, too)

The film isn't the only arrival to the streaming service today, so if it doesn't take your fancy, there will also be some other new options on there - namely episode three of Muppets Now, season one of Spaced Out and Alaska Animal Rescue and season three of Weird But True!.

From today, you'll also be able to watch The One And Only Ivan, which stars Sam Rockwell as the voice of a 400-pound silverback gorilla who shares a habitat in a suburban shopping mall with Stella the elephant (Angelina Jolie) and Bob the dog (Danny DeVito). Which is quite different from The Greatest Showman, but variety is the spice of life, as they say.The Greatest Showman drops on streaming service Disney+ today.
