UFC Star Amanda Nunes Wants To Fight Kim Kardashian Following Paul Vs Mayweather Success

Hot off the back of Logan Paul fighting Floyd Mayweather, everyone is wondering who will be the next celebrity foray into boxing or MMA.

It seems like we've already found one willing competitor and it comes in the form of Amanda Nunes.

The UFC star has put her hand up to fight Kim Kardashian in the octagon.

It comes after UFC president Dana White slammed the outcome of the Mayweather vs Paul bout and said it wasn't a good look for the sport.

He was interviewed by MMA Junkie's Farah Hannoun, where he said: "That wasn't a f**king boxing match. Like I said before, there's always going to be a market for that kind of stuff.

"There's always going to be people that are willing to put down $50 to watch that kind of stuff. That's so far away [from what we do]."

White said the hype around watching professional boxers fight reality stars will cripple the sport and tarnish its name.

He said: "Think about this...imagine if Kim Kardashian wanted to fight Amanda Nunes. How big do you think that fight would be? It would be huge. It would be the biggest [event] but give me a f**king break.

"You create this energy around a fight where you're like 'oh this [is exciting]' and then you watch it and then you turn the TV off and go 'I just wasted another evening, I should have gone out and did something else.'

While that might have just been a throwaway comment, it seems like it's reached its way to Nunes and she's keen.

Writing on Twitter, the two-time UFC champion said: "Hey @KimKardashian let's do this? lol."

The lol at the end seemingly implies that she could be joking about the offer, but who knows, if the pay day is big enough...

But, it's fair to say Kim Kardashian would never set foot in the octagon as a competitor against one of the biggest names in the game. It certainly wouldn't last the full amount of rounds and there would probably be a lot of blood or an early tap out.

Again though, who knows.

Dana White would probably never let that card go ahead anyway as he was fairly critical of the reality star vs professional fighter trend that has emerged thanks to Logan and his brother Jake Paul.

But he did agree that there'll always be a market for that sort of thing and if people want to spend $50 watching it then that's their prerogative.
