Soulja Boy has been in the news recently for accepting a boxing match against YouTuber, Jake Paul. So, we thought now is a better time than ever to learn all about the rapper.

Soulja Boy, also known as DeAndre Cortez Way, is a rapper, producer, actor and businessman who was born in Chicago. He became famous after he posted tracks to SoundClick, MySpace and YouTube. During an interview on The Breakfast Club, he claimed he taught Drake everything he knows. He said: "You know, I taught Drake everything he knows. Come on, man. Stop playing with me. You know that"

He reiterated the statement in a second interview, this time with Entertainment Tonight, he said: "If you listen to Drake's first single... he copied my whole bar word for word and my cadence and my flow from my song. Can I just get my credit?"
