First came the mullet, and now Zac Efron has upped his Aussieness once more as he continues to call Down Under his home.

The Hollywood star has shown off his brand new Akubra hat, as well as the caravan where he's now living.

People have showered Efron with praise for really soaking up the Aussie culture, and also for not using his enormous wealth to buy unnecessary things.

He may not have completely given up the lifestyles of the rich and the famous, however, as he insists his Lotus Caravan is simply what he's shacking up in while he's on set.

Efron is filming a Stan movie called Gold and he's been seen in Adelaide shooting some of the scenes.

It's certainly not a cramped life inside one of these bad boys and pictures have leaked showing it could easily fit a family inside.

There's a big beautiful bed, a table and lounge area, bathroom and decent kitchen. The Daily Mail reports one of these caravans will set you back $140,000.

Ever since Zac landed in Australia, he's been soaking up the Aussie way of life. Not only did he get himself a Byron Bay girlfriend, but back in December he also decided to get a brand new haircut.

The Hollywood star popped into Attaboys, a barber with three locations spread over Adelaide, to get a trim just before Christmas and the barber gave him a true Aussie look.

The Instagram account for the company wrote: "Zac Efron dropped into @attaboy_hair Kent Town for a tidy up today, so we gave him a mullet. He also gave the boss man, Robby, a trim - and made him feel 17 again."

We're not sure if the mullet look is meant for his character in Gold, but we'll have to wait and see when the movie comes out.

According to the summary of the flick the story follows 'two drifters travelling through the outback who stumble across the biggest gold nugget ever found, the dream of immense wealth and greed takes hold'.

The film will be released in cinemas through Madman Entertainment with Altitude Films and will be based on a screenplay Hayes co-wrote with Polly Smyth.

The Stan Original Film Gold will premiere on Stan and in cinemas in 2021.
