In July of last year rapper 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy, and then went on Instagram to show everybody how rich he was. These are obviously two massively contradicting actions.

According to Fox Business, a judge has told Curtis Jackson's lawyer that his Instagram photos are raising questions about whether he is being truthful about his financial situation.

"I'm concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case," Judge Nevins said at a hearing on Thursday. "There's a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process."

Earlier court papers brought to light the Instagram posts that show 50 posing with shit loads of cash.

The photos were flagged by Lastonia Leviston, who won $7 million in a sex-tape dispute but hasn't seen any of that money, because Jackson filed for bankruptcy last summer, WSJ reported.

Jackson's lawyer has defended these photos by stating that he is simply "maintaining his brand."

A court date is yet to be set.
