Adele Rips In To Security Guard For Telling Fans To Sit Down

Such an Adele thing to do.

Adele has paused one of her concerts to tell off a security guard who was having a go at fans for dancing.

During her Australian tour, the gig worker was given a bollocking for ordering people at the show to sit down.

Someone filmed the incident and posted it to social media. In the clip, you can hear the star say: "Excuse me, sir? I know you work here but could you stop telling people to sit down? This is a music show.

"If people can't see then they can stand up.

"If you're moaning about people dancing, what the fuck have you come to a show for?

"If I see one more person being told to sit down, I swear to God."

Which is all fair enough. I mean, he is definitely in the wrong job if he can't handle people standing up during concerts.

And, of course, Adele's followers loved it:

Adele stopping her gigs to have a little swear is nothing new, is it? That's what's so good about her. I just have one question, though, how do you dance to Adele's music?

Following on from this the audience were treated to a public proposal. Adele invited a guy on stage who then proposed to his boyfriend in front of 75,000 people. No pressure.

Speaking to the crowd, Adele said: "I had no idea that was going to happen. That wasn't planned."

Obviously, the guy said 'yes'.

Last year, a pissed-off Adele stopped an audience member from filming her during a show, because, let's face it, it's really fucking annoying when you're trying to enjoy it and someone is just recording the whole bloody thing. Live in the moment...

Pausing her set, she said: "Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with your video camera because I'm really here live, you can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera.

"This isn't a DVD, this is the real thing and I'd really like you to enjoy my show. There's lots of people outside who couldn't come in."

I couldn't agree more.
