It's impossible not to love Sir David Attenborough, the veteran BBC broadcaster and presenter of shows like Planet Earth and Blue Planet which returned to our screens so triumphantly in recent years.

Now fans of the British naturalist can show him their shamanistic appreciation as some geniuses have set up all-night raves paying home to the much-loved British naturalist.

Put together by the Leeds-based promotion company Good Life, David Attenborough's Jungle Boogie describes itself as 'a tribute to our national treasure through the medium of disco'. I'm in.

RELIVE THE ENDING OF PLANET EARTH 2:

The Jungle Boogies sound amazing, inviting ravers to dance into the early hours to house, funk, disco and soul complete with samples of the naturalist's narration. You can also don face masks of the wildlife expert and take photos with a life-size cardboard cut-out of the legend himself.

What's more, all of this takes place in a rainforest-themed atmosphere with episodes of Planet Earth and Blue Planet II playing on a big screen behind the DJ. You'd only be able to top it by meeting the bloke in the flesh.

"Sir David Attenborough invites you into the jungle for one night only... As an avid fan of both nature and Disco, his 'Jungle Boogie' will see the two worlds collide," the event page says.

"So join Sir David on an expedition into the wild world of night clubs where you'll hear much more than just the sounds of the rainforest... Expect a vintage Attenborough blend of House, Disco, Funk & Soul in what is set to be the best party on Planet Earth!"

The raves only started early this year but are already proving to be a big hit, recently selling out two 600 - 800 capacity shows in the Northern England cities of Leeds and Liverpool.

But word's quickly spreading about the nights and the Jungle Boogie is now planning stops in Bristol, Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, Southampton, Cardiff, Exeter, London, Leamington Spa, and Manchester.

Not only does the Jungle Boogies sound like a great laugh but but they're all for a very fitting cause too.

The raves donate a proportion of their proceeds to the World Land Trust, an environmental organisation which aims to conserve endangered plants, animals and natural communities. Exactly the sort of thing Sir David would want to support.

All of the night's current dates fall in the next three weeks so if you fancy ravin' with Sir David you can do it very soon.
