Elton John is set to host a huge coronavirus charity concert featuring music from a bunch of top singers including Billie Eilish and Mariah Carey.

The Fox Presents iHeart Living Room Concert for America will help raise funds to provide relief and support for Americans impacted by covid-19 while 'paying tribute to front-line medical professionals working to treat coronavirus patients, first responders, and local heroes'.

The commercial-free event will have all stars performing from their own homes to ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered to and will fill a slot that was originally planned to air the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which was recently cancelled due to the pandemic.

Other acts include Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Billie Joe Armstrong and Tim McGraw with more yet to be announced.

This is the first big benefit concert set up to help people affected by the coronavirus; however, many musicians have live streamed gigs from their gaffs to help keep fans' spirits up while in lock down or self-isolation.

Artists including John Legend, Keith Urban, P!nk, Rob Thomas and Coldplay's Chris Martin have all chucked up videos of them performing their own music as well as doing covers on Instagram.

Chris Martin and Keith Urban gave fans a particularly big show with 30-minute sets.

Meanwhile, comedian Ricky Gervais has told his fans he'll do a nightly live stream where he'll crack a few jokes and try to 'boost morale'.

Last week, he told his followers: "I want to do something for people stuck at home, self-isolating and all that. I know it can be depressing... I wanted to boost morale really, that's sort of my job. But I didn't know how.

"People keep asking me to bring After Life forward - but I can't do that. It's not up to me and they still have to translate it into all the different languages.

"So, I thought... I went on Instagram Live - I've eventually worked out how to do that, I was like your granddad on Skype."

And true to his word, he's kept up his live streams, all of which you can check out on Twitter.

Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America airs Sunday, March 29 on Fox at 9pm Eastern Time, it will also stream on iHeartMedia radio stations and the iHeartRadio app.

Let's all bring some positivity, support and fun to anyone who might find themselves in isolation as a result of the coronavirus spread. Need some entertainment? Join Isolation Nation: https://www.facebook.com/groups/coronasupport/
