Machine Gun Kelly Responds To Eminem Beef With A Meme

Machine Gun Kelly Responds To Eminem Beef With A Meme

Eminem's Kamikaze dissed just about everyone, but Machine Gun Kelly was the one who responded first - and now Eminem has fired back.

To say that Eminem's latest album, which dropped on August 31st, has been controversial would be the understatement of the year.

Kamikaze was packed with disses, settling more scores than James Alexander Gordon (there's a reference for the kids if ever there was one) and taking wild swipes at everyone from mumble rappers to Donald Trump.

Machine Gun Kelly was the first to hit back and has now taken to Twitter to swing another dig at Slim Shady after he received quite a backlash.

He tweeted a meme from Strictly Come Dancing - or one or other of those awful dancing shows - that simply read: "2 weeks and 3 interviews later..."

He then included a picture of the judges on the dancing show holding up six cards. I may be getting on a bit, but I'm not sure what that even means. Maybe it's supposed to be funny?

To the uninitiated, the beef between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem stems from the track 'Not Alike' on which he rapped: "But next time you don't gotta use Tech N9ne, if you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun. And I'm talkin' to you, but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly. I don't use sublims and sure as fuck don't sneak-diss".

Eminem later explained the diss, saying: "The reason that I dissed him is because he got on - first he said, 'I'm the greatest rapper alive since my favourite rapper banned me from 'Shade 45,' or whatever he said, right? Like I'm trying to hinder his career."

"I don't give a fuck about your career. You think I actually fuckin' think about you? You know how many fuckin' rappers that are better than you? You're not even in the fuckin' conversation."

Kelly was swift in releasing a response, entitled "Rap Devil", which laid into Eminem calling him "sober and bored", saying that "his fuckin' beard is weird" and claiming that he "still can't cover up the fact the last four albums are as bad as your selfie".

Now, Eminem has released a counter-diss, "Killshot", which, well, doesn't hold back.

In response to threats from Kelly, Eminem raps: "The day you put out a hit's the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed" and in response to insults about his age, Slim Shady says "I'm 45 and I'm still outselling you," and "I'd rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you."

Oh, and seeing as Kelly went for Eminem's beard, Marshall adds "How you gonna name yourself after a damn gun, and have a man bun?". Burn.

It didn't have to be like this, however. MGK once tweeted about how much he loves Em's rapping. Back in 2010 he said: "Eminem makes me want to quit rapping...fuck, he's good lol"

Rap beefs are usually pretty tedious - these are grown men after all - but this one is pretty decent: let's hope it runs and runs.
