Harry Redknapp Sings With DJ Luck And MC Neat At Festival

Have you ever wanted to see ex-football manager and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! winner Harry Redknapp singing garage anthems in front of a festival crowd?

Of course you have. Well, today is your lucky day.

'Arry took to the stage this weekend at SandFest in front of a huge crowd and sang along to DJ Luck and MC Neat's hit 'A Little Bit of Luck'.

By the looks of things, it went down well with the crowd of thousands enjoying the sunshine and tunes.

To understand exactly how this very strange - yet somehow necessary - collaboration ended up happening, we dialled up Joel Samuels - also known as DJ Luck - to get his side of the story.

He told LADbible: "The whole thing came about because we were doing a set and Harry was filming for a new series for ITV. Basically, it's about things that he hasn't done before - like a bucket list - and this is his first festival.

"So, he came to us and his team said, 'do you mind if he comes out and does something?' We were speaking to him and I asked him what he'd be comfortable doing and, because he's quite cool, he said, 'well, I'll do anything mate'.

Well, you'd imagine they would. It's not every day you get to see a 72-year-old ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager singing along to a two-step garage banger, is it?

But how did 'Arry find his first time on stage? Did he really like it? Was it (was it) wicked?

Samuels continued: "He loved it! He's a really nice guy, Sandra - his wife - was there and his granddaughter as well.

"I think his granddaughter was more of a fan, and there was obviously a line-up of other people there.

"I think they chose us because it's [the song is] MCing and it's easier for him to sing."

That's fair enough, ease him in gently. Perhaps we'll see him at Glastonbury next year belting out power ballads yet.

We can dream, can't we?

To be fair, SandFest is pretty much Harry's back garden. The festival takes place each year on Sandbanks Beach in Dorset.

It's just around the corner from 'Arry's 'ouse outside Bournemouth.

Hopefully, they've already booked him - and DJ Luck and MC Neat - for next year.
