Shakira joined Jennifer Lopez on stage at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show for a stunning performance of their greatest hits. But that wasn't the only singer who helped belt out a few bangers with Ms Lopez.

Her 11-year-old daughter, Emme Maribel, jumped in to sing the classic 'Let's Get Loud', and showed that she has definitely received her mum and dad's vocal skills.

J-Lo shares Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who tweeted after the performance: "Emme Daddy is so proud of you. You are my [heart] and I am forever yours."

Judging from social media, loads of people weren't expecting the girl to come out during one of the most televised sporting matches and entertainment performances on the calendar.

The two singers belted out the massive hit as dancers performed behind them while waving a massive Puerto Rican flag.

It was a massive show of cultural diversity throughout the show, with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez being the second Super Bowl halftime performance done by a Latina, after Gloria Estefan. They were also joined by Bad Bunny and J Balvin during the set.

Before the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, Ms Lopez said she wanted to make sure she showed off her heritage during the epic 10-minute show.

"Two Latinas doing this in this country at this time is just very empowering to us," J-Lo said.

Shakira added: "It's very important for us to convey a message of unity and also to show what a relevant force the Latin community is in this country."

While the performance was unbelievable, social media was awash with posts about one very particular moment involving Shakira.

It was the Colombian singer that set tongues wagging, both literally and figuratively, when she stared right down the lens of the camera and performed a particularly bizarre noise and movement with her tongue.

You really have to see it for it to make sense. Even then it still doesn't.

There's not really a suitable name for it, but it's bloody strange, that's for sure.

Anyway, it has massively divided opinion online - which isn't exactly new, admittedly - with some wondering why she did it, and others thinking that she made a bit of a numpty out of herself.

Surely these things don't last for long, surely?
