Life is pretty sweet for Lewis Capaldi right about now. He's just enjoyed a number one album, he's bagged himself a spot at Glastonbury and even enjoyed a shift at Greggs.

But in a video shared by the singer's Instagram account, he says nothing compares to hearing the Jonas Brothers cover his chart-topping track, 'Someone You Loved'.

Yes, the pop siblings and former Disney Channel stars took to Radio One's live lounge to put their own spin on the heartbreaking pop hit.

Twenty-two-year-old Lewis couldn't contain his excitement and in his own unique style posted a series of tongue-in-cheek videos, claiming the trio had made him a 'millionaire'.

One video shows the Scot listening to the rendition with his mates, exclaiming: "The sales are gonna go through the roof, the sales are gonna go through the roof."

The singer was very happy with the Jonas Brothers' cover.

In the next clip, Capaldi dons a pair of gold sunglasses, decked out with dollar sign spangles, alongside the caption: "Me thinking about all the cash I'm about to make because the Jonas Brothers covered my song. Smashed it, lads."

He then looks at the camera and says: "I'm going to be so rich and buy a big house. And people are going to ask, 'How did you afford the bog house?' and I'll say, 'Ask the Jonas Brothers, all thanks to the Jonas Brothers.' Thank you."

But Capaldi isn't done just yet and goes on to hammer home the point that Joe, Kevin and Nick really have made his day - ranking the cover among his many career milestones.

He shared a series of videos thanking the singers for making him a millionaire.

He adds: "Defining moments in my career, right. First single release, selling out the arena tour, number one album, number one single... all mean fucking nothing compared to the fact the Jonas Brothers just covered my fucking tune. My tune.

"Sales, the sales are gonna go through the roof. I'm gonna be so rich, man. See this guy - points at himself in the mirror - all down to the fucking Jonas Brothers. Thank you, thank you, boys."

Just for good measure, he says: "Just had my mum on the phone: 'Did you see the Jonas Brothers covered your song?' Aye I fucking did, pack my shit cause I'm buying a house."

The 'Hold Me While You Wait' singer was at a festival in Norway when he heard the Jonas' rendition of his hit and in another clip he jokes that no one there knows how rich he is.

"None of these fucking people know, man," he says. "None of these people know that the Jonas Brothers have just made me a millionaire."

But the funny vids end with a bittersweet moment, as Capaldi's final clip shows him listening to the cover, with the caption: "Me enjoying the cover then realising it's better than mine."

Aww, it's alright, mate, yours is ok.
