Lewis Capaldi's Reaction To His Neighbours Having Sex Is Brilliant

The Scottish singer-songwriter took to Instagram as his neighbours kept him up at night

It's a good time to be Lewis Capaldi. The singer-songwriter's single, 'Someone You Loved', is currently top of the UK singles chart and he is on tour in Dublin; what more could a 22-year-old want?

But it seems despite his recent surge in popularity, he still has to put up with the same shit as we mudbloods do, namely being kept up at night by romping neighbours. Of course, sex is great when you're having it, but when you're just near it and it's loud then it can be very annoying indeed.

Clearly unable to nod off, the Scotsman decided to take to Instagram and share his suffering with the world - and we're glad he did because it's brilliant.

In the video, all we can see is Capaldi's phone-lit face, but we can hear a distant moaning in the background. After explaining that a couple nearby are getting down to it, Capaldi provides a hilarious monologue of heckles and commentary.

After shouting at the couple to 'keep it down' and 'shut up', Capaldi begins to question whether the sex can be as good as it sounds.

He says: "She's faking that... She's faking it!

"Is that what it's supposed to sound like when you have sex, because it doesn't sound like that when I do it?

"It cannot be that good, surely. That's them been (sic) at it for over 10 minutes now, that's unheard of."

Bravo Lewis, bravo.

Lewis Capaldi has been providing the people with plenty of entertainment of late.

We shouldn't be too surprised by this kind of exceptional behaviour from the guy though. Just last week he turned up at a bar in Glasgow offering free cocktails to anyone called Lewis Capaldi. Having been top of the charts for three months now, you'd have to think he's not struggling for cash, but still, a free cocktail is a free cocktail isn't it?

So L.A. also created a cocktail called 'Bathgate to L.A.' in honour of the singer-songwriter from Bathgate, West Lothian, and co-owner, Louise Rusk, couldn't believe the man himself was the first to try it.

She said: "We know Lewis is a gin connoisseur so we created the cocktail in his honour with gin as a base. We never thought for one minute he'd be the first person to try it but we're so glad he did.

"It was a bit of fun when we said that anyone called Lewis Capaldi could try the drink for free and we'd asked people to bring down their ID to prove that they shared his name.

"We didn't need to ask this Lewis Capaldi though! We're thinking that maybe we'll start a trend - perhaps we'll create a cocktail for Johnny Depp and see what happens."
