Man Storms Stage Towards Beyoncé And Jay-Z, Gets Floored By Dancers
A stage invader who attempted to interrupt Beyoncé and Jay-Z during their concert last night was chased down by angry backing dancers. Awkward, eh?
The Carters were performing at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday night during their On The Run II tour when a fella decided to try and storm the stage. Bad idea.
The singers' backing dancers didn't even seem to need the help of security and acted quickly to chase him away before he got near the couple.
At least three members of security can then be spotted tackling him to the floor.
Fans reacted with shock to the incident with one concerned concert-goer taking to Twitter to ask: "The Beyhive is wondering, where in the world was security as the dancers were left to defend themselves as he pushed and ran on stage." Ah, well, don't worry too much, mate, they seemed to be in control of the situation.
Another wrote: "The idea of someone running on stage sounds funny, but the reality of what could've happened to Beyoncé and Jay-Z, isn't funny at all. Security should just turn in their black shirts and muscles now."
A third added: "Still can't believe security was so loose that this drunk joker was able to leap onstage so easily."
The identity of the man hasn't been revealed.
Beyoncé's publicist Yvette Noel-Schure took to Instagram to confirm that the couple were 'fine' and that tonight's concert - at the same venue - is to go ahead as planned.
