Well, let's just get into it then.
On a new collaborative track with Mary J. Blige and Fat Joe entitled 'Lord Above', Em aimed a couple of trademark lyrical jibes in the direction of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.
Whilst it takes some balls to send for Mariah - she's scarier than any rapper - Cannon was asked to respond on his radio show on Power 106 on Friday.
Cannon said: "Em has been doing this forever,"
That much is certainly true.
He continued: "He should change his name from Eminem to Percocet. What's the pills that old people take? We gonna call him Cialis. Bring your walker, get out your wheelchair Eminem and pop whatever you pop.
"Should I respond back? It's not worthy of a response. Then I gotta get in my time machine and put my gigolo jersey on."
After that, he took to his Instagram page to offer the Detroit born rapper out onto his successful MTV comedy improv battle show.
He wrote: "@FatJoe album is [fire emojis] Star studded, he even did some charity work and dug @Eminem out his grave I mean cave!! LOL FLAM FLAM! BLAM BLAM! NICK CANNON!! Bring your Ass to @MTVWILDNOUT to Battle like a real legend Grandpa Marshall!!"
Whatever that actually means.
As for the verse itself, what could possibly have been said that might have wound them both up so much?
Well, here's a transcription of the lyrics, see what you think.
Shady rapped: "I know me and Mariah didn't end on a high note/But that other dude's whipped, that p***y got him neutered,
"Tryna tell him his chicks a nut 'fore he got his jewels clipped. Almost got my caboose kicked. Fool, quit, you not gon' do s***, I let her chop my balls off too before I lost to you, Nick."
To be fair, this isn't the first time the pair have clashed.
Nick Cannon wasn't exactly thrilled at some of Em's previous comments about his ex-wife. Cannon and Carey separated in 2016.
That said, it seems as if the wounds have yet to heal.
