Pink Shuts Down Troll Who Says She Looks 'So Old'

Fans have heaped praise on the singer following the interaction

Pink effortlessly shut down a troll who attempted to have a go at her for 'looking old'.

The singer has always been fairly outspoken sharing her message about inclusiveness and non-conformity and has been hailed an 'inspiration' by many.

But of course, there's always got to be one person who has to pipe up with an unwanted opinion; in this case it was this Twitter user who said that Pink looked 'so old' that she should be 'called Purple instead', whatever that means.

When you're a millionaire popstar with an armful of awards and a legion of fans across the world, it's probably quite easy to just ignore the inane comments of idiots online, but it's also probably more fun to pull them on their words, so that's what she did.

Responding to the troll she pointed that there are still 'people left in the world that choose to age naturally', adding that she's 'earned every fucking minute' of her 38 years.

She went on to tell him/her that she was more than happy to look older in 10 years time, because that means she'll be alive.

Her responses were flooded with comments from fans calling her inspirational and heaping praise on the singer for growing old naturally; others wrote that growing old is a privilege, while calling her 'beautiful'.

This isn't the first time Pink has spoken out about smashing stereotypes and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Speaking at the MTV VMA's last year, the singer said she was shocked when her little girl Willow had told her she felt like the ugliest girl in school and that she 'looked like a boy with long hair'.

Pink told the crowd: "I went home and I made a Powerpoint presentation for her. And in that presentation were androgynous rockstars and artists that live their truth, are probably made fun of every day of their life, and carry on, wave their flag and inspire the rest of us.

"And these are artists like Michael Jackson and David Bowie and Freddie Mercury and Annie Lennox and Prince and Janis Joplin and George Michael, Elton John, so many artists - her eyes glazed over. But then I said, 'You know, I really want to know why you feel this way about yourself'.

"And she said, 'Well I look like a boy', and I said, 'Well what do you think I look like?' And she said, 'Well you're beautiful'. And I was like, 'Well, thanks. But when people make fun of me, that's what they use. They say I look like a boy or I'm too masculine or I have too many opinions, my body is too strong'.

"And I said to her, 'Do you see me growing my hair?' She said, 'No, mama'. I said, 'Do you see me changing my body?' 'No, mama.

''Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?' 'No, mama'.

"'Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?' 'Ye's, Mama'. 'OK! So, baby girl. We don't change. We take the gravel and the shell and we make a pearl. And we help other people to change so they can see more kinds of beauty'."
