Post Malone has opened up about his famous facial tattoos, saying he got them because he thinks he's an 'ugly-ass motherf***er'. Don't be like that, Post.
The 24-year-old rapper from New York adorns the cover of GQ's Spring/Summer issue. He told the publication the inkings he's had over time have been a defensive strategy.
He expalined: "I'm a ugly-ass motherf***er. It does maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don't like how I look, so I'm going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, 'You look cool, kid,' and have a modicum of self-confidence, when it comes to my appearance."

Post Malone, real name Austin Richard Post, has a number of tattoos across his face. Under his eyes are the words 'always' and 'tired', while another above his right eyebrow says 'stay away'.
He had some recent work done of a saw covered in blood on left cheek which was revealed on Instagram by Junction City Tattoo's Ruben Reza.
Just before the New Year, he celebrated by getting another huge tattoo on the side of his face which shows a hand holding a ball and chain type weapon.

The ink was shown off by tattoo artist Kyle Hediger who wrote on Instagram: "Last tattoo of 2019. Gauntlet on the baby boy @postmalone love u. 2020 is going to be next level. Love you all".
Back in 2018, Post Malone echoed his feelings of insecurities in a chat with Tim Westwood TV about the reason behind the facial tats.
He explained: "It's alright, I got a face for radio anyways, so I figured, why not? Anything to p**s my mom off."
