Post Malone, The 1975, Foo Fighters, and Twenty One Pilots will headline Reading and Leeds Festival in 2019.

The news was announced this morning by Greg James on his BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show after he told his listeners that he knew who all of the headliners for next year's upcoming festival were.

The four acts will play at both sites of the festival on alternating days, as is the tradition of the festival. Tickets will be available to buy this Friday (November 23rd).

If you want to get your hands on them, you'll have to be up and refreshing at 9am. The sale will include the full four day camping passes.

Attendees across both sites will be able to get early entry passes, camper van passes, and special white car park passes at an extra price.

This year the festival will take place between the dates of August 23rd to August 25th and will continue to remain at the usual festival sites - Reading's Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park in Leeds.

If you are still unsure about whether to buy tickets, you can find out the whole line-up tonight when Annie Mac will announce more acts on her Radio 1 show.

Last year saw the festival headlined by Fall Out Boy, Travis Scott, Kings of Leon, and Kendrick Lamar.

Strangely enough, when the festival headliners were announced earlier today, The Mirror accidentally accompanied their article with a picture of Rita Ora instead of Post Malone.

They can be forgiven for their mistake, mind. Rita Ora was actually dressed up as Posty for a Hallowe'en party the other week.

Their gaffe was picked up on by journalist Roisin O'Connor who tweeted a screenshot of the offending image with the caption: "This morning I am very amused at The Mirror accidentally using a pic of Rita Ora dressed as Post Malone for Halloween in their story on Reading and Leeds headliners"

By the time the festival rolls around next year, Post Malone fans could be treated to a whole load more new material.

Just hours ago, Malone tweeted: "Trying to put out a new body of work before the end of the year but we all know how that goes wish me luck k"

We'll see how he gets on come next August.
