Rapper Juice Wrld Has Died, Aged 21

Rapper Juice Wrld has died, aged 21.

According to reports, the singer, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, died after suffering a seizure at Chicago's Midway airport in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, police confirmed that a 21-year-old man suffered a medical emergency at the airport about 2am after getting off a private jet.

He was then rushed to hospital but reports state he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The cause of death is not yet known.

Juice Wrld shot to fame on the back of his 2018 album 'Goodbye and Good Riddance', which reached number six on the Billboard 200.

The main single on the album, 'Lucid Dreams', also reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

The singer had recently played shows in Australia and was due to perform in Los Angeles on 14 December.

Since news of his passing broke earlier this afternoon, fellow artists and people from the entertainment industry have taken to social media to share their condolences.

Rapper Lil Yachty posted a photograph of them both together, with the caption: "bye brother, love u dawg.. rip."

Writing on Twitter, Father wrote: "Fam what, RIP to that young man Juice."

Omen wrote: "Rest in peace Juice Wrld. gone too soon. prayers to his family and loved ones."

Not3s wrote: "R.I.P Juice Wrld, real talent."

One person said: "You helped me through the hardest year of my life and i'll forever remember you for that. a legend gone too soon. juice wrld had so much ahead of him."

A second commented: "Rest in price to the best rapper out there, you will truly be missed. Thanks for making music that spoke to me so deeply. Goodbye Juice WRLD, I'm praying for you bro."
