Throwback To When This Old Lady On The Subway Had No Clue Who Jay Z Was

Jay Z is one of the biggest hip hop stars of all time. He's sold more than 100 million records and picked up 21 Grammys. He also holds the record for the most number one albums by a solo artist on the Billboard 200 (he's had 13) while three of his albums - Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint and The Black Album - all feature in the highly-regarded Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums of all time. And, of course, he's married to one of the most famous women in the world.

So, yeah, he is fairly well-known. That is why this throwback to the time he met an old lady on the New York City underground who didn't have a clue who he was is so brilliant.

I love the way that she says: "Oh you're Jay Z! I know about Jay Z!" at the end. Don't try and massage his ego now. You don't have a clue and that's OK. He probably doesn't know who you are either.
