Adult Film Star, 19, 'Made As Much As Mia Khalifa' In One Month Than She Did In Entire Porn Career
Just days ago, Mia Khalifa revealed the news that shocked some people - that she made a total of around $12,000 (£9,950) in her three month career as an adult film star.
The 26-year-old wanted to change the perception that porn stars are 'racking' in money saying that it's 'completely untrue'. This led to a fellow Pornhub star opening up about her own experiences.
Stephanie Vixen is a 19-year-old 'amateur adult film star' who started a Reddit thread to explain that she made 'as much as Mia Khalifa in one month than she did in her entire career'.
Stephanie claims that she hasn't started the conversation to 'brag' but simply wants to explain her situation: that you CAN make good money in the porn industry, citing Pornhub as a main source of that.
Talking about the financial side of the business, she said: "I have filmed for Brazzers and they paid once per scene. When I upload my own content to platforms like Pornhub, I constantly make passive income off of views (ad revenue). Or people buy my videos through Modelhub."
She later added: "As long as my videos are on Pornhub and people are clicking them, I'm making money. Any job I decide to pickup after will always have the supplemented income of porn. Unless I decide to delete my content after I stop or people just stop watching all my content."
Answering another of the questions, the Stephanie Vixen wrote: "I do enjoy my work. I see myself doing this for ~5 years or however long it's making me money."

When she was asked what she has learnt working in porn, she went on: "Porn has taught me that I should never compare myself to others.
"It was very hard in the beginning to not compare myself to the big name stars (like Mia Khalifa) with lots of work done to their bodies. Before Porn, sex was dull. Now, I have fun learning new thing [sic] & being manhandled like it should be."
Although Stephanie makes impressive money from the porn industry she calls it a 'side hustle' and not a career. When asked what her plans are for her actual job her response was: "Nail technician! I remember my first acrylic set in 4th grade, from then on I've always been obsessed with the whole process." Well, I didn't see that coming.
But, how did she get into porn? Well, Stephanie explained: "Initially my boyfriend just asked me and said we could try to make some extra cash. We just thought it would be fun, and it has been! I don't think we will have any issues with it in the future."
As a result of Stephanie's openness, people began to ask for advice and, no surprise, she was more than happy to oblige, writing: "For women, it's easier to get in, but harder to stay relevant.
"Women get called to a few shoots then pushed aside when the next big star comes along but they will keep shooting with the same male talent over and over.
"If you have a goal set and are self motivated to work on your own time. It's not glitz and glamour starting porn. There's lots of planning."
