After Chris Evans announced he was stepping down as Top Gear host, everyone has pretty much been holding their breath and waiting for Jeremy Clarkson's reaction.
The Daily Mail reported that Clarkson was 'chuffed' at Evans' decision to step down, although Clarkson has now said those quotes have been made up.
The pair, along with Richard Hammond, were driving supercars through Vicenza's main square in northern Italy and were swarmed by fans.

One took a video which showed May saying he 'very chuffed' after being asked about Chris Evans' departure.
Clarkson is also asked if he's 'pretty chuffed,' and if he has a message for Chris Evans, to which he replies 'don't be stupid'.
However, the MailOnline reported that a Grand Tour cameraman told them Clarkson was 'pleased as a punch', and that 'Evans has hung himself by his own rope without Jeremy getting involved'. Which is what the presenter is referring to when he compares the quotes to 'horseshit' and a 'disgrace'.
TV chef James Martin has become the shock favourite to replace Chris Evans, with his odds being slashed to 3/1; which is odd, considering the BBC announced Evans would not be replaced.
